Frequently asked questions
Can I purchase tickets at the door?
Due to the intimacy of our theatre and the fact that we sell out many performances, we urge you to purchase in advance. However, if you need to wait and try to purchase at the door, we recommend that you arrive 45 minutes prior to curtain.
Is seating assigned?
All of our main stage productions are reserved seating. This allows you to order the specific seats for the best experience. Ushers will be in the house to assist you in finding your seat. Special events and readings may have general seating. Always check with the box office to be sure.
When is your box office open?
How are your productions chosen?
As a subcommittee of the Board of Directors, the Play Reading Committee handles the show selection for the season. This group presents a suggested season to the Board and it is either approved or sent back for changes. Many factors are taken into account when choosing a season including intended audience, artisitc integrity and financial responsibility. This committee is open to anyone in the community that has interest in assisting with show selection. Contact us if you would like to become involved.
Do you pre-cast any roles in your theatre?
Casting decisions are left up to the individual director for a production. The show is to reflect their artistic vision and sometimes they will secure what they deem to be the appropriate talent for a role prior to auditions. This decision will be announced at the beginning of any WTC audition.
How much do tickets cost?
Ticket prices for musicals and our holiday show cost $20.00 for adults and $17.50 for students/seniors. Prices for plays outside of the Holiday season are $17.50 for adults and $15.00 for students/seniors.
What nights do you perform?
Each show is different but typically our performances run Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays for 3-4 weeks. Each production has at least one matinee within the run.
