Rehearsals had just started for A Christmas Carol when the theatre was closed because of bulging in one wall. The theatre [owned and operated by Allied Arts] was subsequently condemned and was torn down the following year. A Christmas Carol was moved to the Akin Center Theatre (ACT) which became a home for many of the following shows.
